Yet another visit to a gem of a nature preserve in the Great Northern Catskills. Platte Clove Preserve in Elka Park is a gratifying nature preserve nestled in the Catskills mountain range which offers stunning scenic waterfalls and trails for hikers of all skill levels. For this post I have captured the upper waterfall and also the Plattekill Creek running towards a second waterfall which I did not descend to the base to due to the rainy weather conditions.
